Purchased in 2000 and holds size very well. There are a
couple items that will need attention. The sub spindle is
down, Maintenance Technician is confident all it
needs is an encoder belt.
The live tooling will need to be cleaned and aligned, and
the X axis ball screw bearings will need to be replaced.
Maintenance Tech is certain he could correct the sub spindle
and live tooling issues at little to no cost and in one day, if
necessary. The only reason they’ve been allowed to stay down
is that they haven’t been needed.
